Aerobics or Spinning are Activities to Lose Weight

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Aerobics activityThe Aerobics is a type of exercise that can leave us positive or negative aspects but unfortunately no one tells us about the negative aspects that this discipline brings with it as obviously everybody wants to sell and have their entire classes.

This is not to say that these classes do not serve, but many people (referring to the sedentary) think that with the Aerobics lose body fat and unfortunately some monitors that offer these classes do not inform people about what they really benefit a class of this type. So people get deceived into believing that classes are going to lose weight. This is mainly due to the belief relate to sweat to lose body fat.

In most Aerobics classes does not reach the zone of aerobic efficiency, and if in any case be able to get is very hard to stay in that area as most of Aerobics classes are not steadily, but that pauses, suddenly make it faster, then do it slower and make endless variations, which makes the classes are way more fun but not very effective in terms of fat loss that if I would like to achieve and maintain efficiency in the aerobic zone would be a class very steady monotone as few people would like.

Physical And Mental Exercises

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Physical And Mental ExercisesIt is undeniable that if we lose weight we have to move and burn energy. The body is like a factory that has to burn what you consume.

Now 50 percent of people are reluctant to exercise. While half thought that the gym is enough to the other half does not like to exercise.

If we think there are many alternatives like buying yoga videos or exercise and perform them in the house. Ah! But of course this requires the discipline and perseverance.
Another possibility is to walk every day for at least 30 minutes at a brisk pace. Here there is the question if this way works all the muscles.

What happens in this case with the back muscles are so important. Much of the world population suffers from back pain or bad posture problems. This is largely due to lack of muscles. We think that the muscles form a corset that support the spine. (more…)

Weigh Loss For A Lifetime

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

weight lossMany people struggle with their weight for a lifetime. And this need not be so. There is a workout routine that can help you lose weight and keep it away from you. You just need to find one that suits your lifestyle and your personality. The options also include aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Each has its own strengths.

High intensity exercises are a great routine to lose weight. High-intensity routines focus on repetitive actions that result in temporary muscle fatigue. These exercises are very intense and short-lived. For this reason, high-intensity exercise should be performed no more than three times a week.

Your body needs time to recover between sessions before reloading. The number of repetitions is not as important in this type of exercise, if it is the intensity.

Anaerobic exercises are a form of high intensity exercise. During this training your body needs the energy stored in muscles. Some anaerobic exercises include jump rope, sprints and weight training. (more…)

Diet is Useless !

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

dietOkay, the title of this post may be somewhat controversial, but the reality is that dieting itself (that is, what does the term “diet”) are not used to lose weight permanently.

For example, a friend of mine told me that followed a diet of yogurt and although this will help you lose 5 kilos in 1 month, told me that I stop suddenly and lose weight and has remained the same, although this feeding poorly.

Other people I know have also followed similar diets, including diet “Atkins” low carbohydrate, although much weight down quickly after a while it stalled was feeling weak and tired and no longer continued to lose weight, and worse, that they left the diet regained their weight as fast as it fell … and worse … extra weight gained by the rebound effect.

Why does this happen then? …

Well, one of the principles that I teach my clients is NOT to follow a diet to try to lose weight. At least not a “diet” in the common sense of the word. (more…)

Metabolism and Overweight

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

Commonly associated with being overweight, your metabolism is much more than the cause of this problem, try to understand that it is without going into detail the complex physiological and medical terminology.

Metabolism is a set of processes occurring within every cell of every body to sustain life, refers to all physical and chemical processes in the body that produce and use energy, such as digesting food and nutrients, eliminating waste through urine and feces, respiration, blood circulation and temperature regulation.

To function the human body takes the energy of food consumed daily in the form of carbohydrates, lipids and amino acids for the calories they get will be spent on the energy needs of each individual. In this process, the body burns glucose for energy but if the daily requirement is less than the production then stored as fat.

Metabolism and overweight know someone who eats more than a remorse and yet not gain weight or lose muscle definition, is usually that friend who is capable of eating a giant hamburger with double extra bacon, home fries, soft drink, plus a chocolate ice cream. You see, you chop the gluttonous worm of envy and wonder why I do not have your metabolism?

Some people have a single condition in which their metabolism is muyu efficient but eat a lot and just manage to keep moving the weight. However, to have carte blanche to consume any food makes unhealthy food overdo, which can cause heart and cholesterol problems, though not fat.
