Calculate Body Fat Index

BMI (Body Mass Index) is not effective for bodybuilders, pregnant women and athletes, since it is based on the weight / height in the population previously named a deviation that does not correspond with reality.

BMI = Weight (kg) / height ² (m)

There are also forms of Hodgdon and Beckett. The formulas require measurements in centimeters with a precision of 0.5 cm.

*% Fat = 495 / (1.0324 – 0.19077 (log (waist-neck)) + 0.15456 (log (height))) – 450

Formula to calculate the percentage of body fat in women

*% Fat = 495 / (1.29579 – 0.35004 (log (waist + hip-neck)) + 0.22100 (log (height))) – 450

or 25-31% Acceptable

or 2-4% essential fat

Anyway, the best method with less diversion has to be done in a laboratory with a specialist.
